Hi Everyone,

It's a great question, "Where are you?". This was God's first question to man, and I believe that He's still asking us today.

In Genesis 3:1 we hear the voice of deception from the "father of lies", which Jesus calls him in John 8:44. In Genesis 3:9 we hear the voice of love by a loving Father. The one who has been calling His children back to Himself ever since they (we) were deceived in the Garden of Eden.

It grieves our Heavenly Father to see His precious creation being deceived and kept in bondage. That's why He sent Jesus.

"For the Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10

We often use this scripture' "Where are you?" in Genesis 3:9 as a call to the unsaved, but I believe it is also for us today. Our loving Heavenly Father is calling us all back into close, intimate relationship with Him.

Even as Christians we can drift away from God. When we do, God becomes someone to call on only when we are in trouble. That's not what our loving Father wants. He wants to spend time with you everyday. Not in religious prayer, but just in loving conversation. Simply stopping to enjoy each other's presence.

So important is this to God that he sacrificed His most precious Son, Jesus just to release us from the dominion of darkness and bring us back into the Kingdom of the Son He loves (Colossians 1:13).

Have you let the everyday news, the fear, the cares of this world take away your peace and steal your joy? Is the voice of the world shouting louder in your ears than the voice of our loving Father?

So again I ask, "Where are you? Where is your relationship with God? On a scale of 1-10 where would you sit today?" Ten being perfect.  The only way we can stand firm in times like these is if we are standing firm, secure and at peace in a present and personal relationship with our Loving Heavenly Father.

So let's make the effort to spend time with our Heavenly Father this week and listen to His loving voice, instead of the gloom and doom news we hear in the world today.

God bless you and have a great week!

Love Giovanna!
